Merging pop, rock, and country elements into a contemporary sound, Calm & Chaos are comprised of Anne Marie Bannister on vocals and Demian Bannister on guitar and vocals. Since 2007 they have been performing a wide mix of cover songs and originals all over the Bay Area as an acoustic duo, along with occasional full band shows..

Anne Marie's voice has been compared to Chrissie Hynde and Karen Carpenter, and Demian spent many years touring the states, receiving airplay on popular San Francisco Bay Area radio stations Live 105 and Alice Radio as the guitarist in The Dangs, The Caroline Movement, and Five Alarm.

On the new album ‘A Century In The Making’, Calm & Chaos continue to channel their love of classic guitar-driven pop songs by artists like Pat Benatar and Cheap Trick while also reflecting on some of their deeper journeys that life has taken them on since their first release ‘Bad Decisions Make For Great Stories’.

The album was recorded at the storied San Francisco Bay Area studio The Groove Room with Vadim Canby, who has worked with legends who include Bob Weir, Huey Lewis, The Expendables, Acid King, The Doobie Bros, Vain, Sasha Dobson, Om, Marc Broussard, Don Was, Govt Mule, Dead & Co. and The Grateful Dead.

In 2017 they released an album of cover songs a a tribute to artists who passed away in 2016 titled "2016 Gone Not Forgotten", featuring acoustic interpretations of legends such as Prince, Glenn Frey, David Bowie, and George Michael.

Calm & Chaos' debut original 12 song CD "Bad Decisions Make For Great Stories" was mastered by Marc DeSisto, reknowned for his work with U2, Pink Floyd, Sheryl Crow, Vertical Horizon, and many others.
